Jackie,
What you have is a blackberry lily (Belamcanda chinensis). This plant is sometimes called leopard lily or candy lily. It is in the greater Iris family. I have had this particular perennial before and is very easy to grow. The delicate blooms add a lot to the flow of a perennial bed. The flowers only last a day but my experience is that they are prolific bloomers.
