Can one Peace Lily become two?

I have a huge peace lily—-can I subdivide it into two separate pots??

Judy,
You can divide peace lilies. Remove the plant from its pot. Take a knife and cut from the bottom to the top. Make sure you have a good root system attached to the foliage of each half. Then re-pot the peace lilies.
