Crown of Thorns Euphorbia Milli var Splendens (picture from Wikipedia) is a semi-succulent shrub known for its thorns and delicate flowers. Often used as a houseplant, it prefers a well-drained light soil and full sun to part shade. It likes to be slightly dry before watering and low humidity. This slow growing plant needs only a moderate amount of fertilizer and pruning. It is susceptible to aphids. mealy bugs root rot and stem rot.
