Cindy’s introduction to the floral industry began in 1990 with the original Redbook Florist Services in Paragould, Arkansas.
In 1999, Cindy joined Brock and Loranne Atwill in creating a marketing and wire service alternative for florist now known as Flower Shop Network.
Her experience includes: Working in the marketing and education divisions of Redbook; coordinating meetings and travel for Redbook’s design team; and managing the sales team.
Here at Flower Shop Network, Cindy oversees our sales team in all divisions – Flower Shop Network; FGmarket; Wedding and Party Network; FSNFuneral Homes; FSNHospitals, and assists in the development of new programs/services for all divisions.
What is your favorite thing about working for this industry?
My favorite thing about working in this industry is being able to help provide florists with the most affordable form of advertising from our listing to full custom website to sending & receiving orders! We give florists all the tools to take back their business and make it profitable, and we do what we say we’re going to do! It is rewarding to work for a company with owners that truly care about the future of the retail florists and are very in-tune with today’s marketing trends such as marketing to your customers via social media.
I work with some of the best sales, customer service and other staff in the industry – we enjoy what we do and it shows!
