Help! What Is This Flowering Ground Cover?

Where are these located? Your plant looks at lot like Gazania which is a genus of about 16 species. Some types of Gazania like the Chansonette series are perennial, but usually only in zones 8-10. I live in zone 6b (Northeast Arkansas) and mine lasted well into January this year.

Do you have a picture of the open bloom? If you could send me a picture and where the plants are located, I will make a more definitive identification.

    Same plant. Northridge CA [LA] in April. planted with Butterfly bush and these purplish flowers i haven’t identified yet. Gazania is the closest guess i’ve seen.
