Good thing Hydrangea grows all year round. But do you have anymore suggestions what other flowers are exquisite to use especially for this month of June? Thanks

If you go to the <a href="http://www.ccfc.org/" rel="nofollow">California Cut Flower Association</a> site they have a <a href="http://www.ccfc.org/ca-cut-flowers/seasonal-availability/%252F" rel="nofollow">seasonal availability </a>tool that will show what flowers are available in what month.

A lot of useful information. Your blog is very much good. I am very much impressed by your blog content. They are absolutely beautiful and the perfect choice for wedding. Using hydrangeas for your reception table centerpieces not only can be economical, even in winter, but gives the tables a touch of elegance. Whether hydrangeas are used only in the bride's bouquet, or incorporated into the bridesmaids' bouquets and flower girl baskets, the bloom makes a stunning display. Quite interesting and informative. Thanks for sharing.

Kelly,

See if your florists can get Agapanthus it comes in blue and has a rounded bloom shape. Other blue flowers that could be used but don't have a rounded shape are anemones, hyacinths, delphinums and scabiosia. I would do an all white bouquet with a beautiful shimmery periwinkle ribbon or embellishments before I would do silk. Mixing silk with fresh is just not appropriate.

I really think light blue Agapanthus would be the best choice.

I'm getting married in March in Belfast and wanted to use white roses with blue hydrangeas. The florist tells me he can't get the hydrangeas that time of year. Any suggestions for an alternative. My fiance is wearing a periwinkle blue cravat and the hydrangea color was going to be perfect.

One person has suggested i mix silk blue hydrangeas with fresh cut white roses. Normally, I'd be adamantly against the use of silk flowers, but I'm starting to get desperate. Thoughts on this? Is it tacky?

I'm attaching a pic of my husband's tux, so you can see the color I'm aiming for.

Its great to know that the hydrangeas are available all year round. Yet they probably cost more when not in season.
