    Linda,

    It is a little difficult to tell from the picture what type of flowers they are. My initial guess is some kind of Anemone. But it could be some type of Malva, Tansy or Feverfew. If you could take an up-close picture of both the flower and the stem and leaf structure, I could make a better identification.

    Seeing the whole picture makes a difference. The wildflower you have is called Hibiscus Trionum. It flowers June – September and is found throughout Missouri as well as other places. Here is a site that has more information about this plant – Missouriplants.com.
