Thank you for your response. I think we may, indeed, be loving it to
death. It was given to my coworker at her father&#039;s funeral. It is a
deeply loved plant. We&#039;ll just have to back off and give it some space.

People are very loving by nature and very attentive when people, animals and plants are ill.  However in this case, you are loving your plant to death.  All plants go through transplant shock when re-potted and will look a little rough for a few days.  When re-potting always water the plant throughly when finished and then check for dryness before watering again.  Unfortunately over-watering and under-watering can exhibit the same symptoms.  Your peace lily is now in extreme shock and the best course of action is to leave it alone and water only if the soil feels dry.  You might need to check on your drainage -- make sure the pot has drain holes.
