Tall, Dark Green and Mottled Leaves – What Is It?

i have a large house plant appr. 4 ft high. it has beautiful very dark green mottled leaves. Every so often it blooms with a white lily looking flower and also red berry looking seed pod. I am sorry I have no photo.

From your description I believe you have an Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen). There are several varieties and without a picture I can't be sure which one you have. I placed a picture of one variety above. Please let me know if it has a similar look.

Dear jaime : Thank you very much. I looked up further information regarding the Chinese evergreen and although mine appears to be larger than the info i do believe that it is. Thank you again. Shelly
