Plants sometimes need a rest period between blooms – this rest period can be any where from a couple of days to several weeks. However, you can stimulate the blooming cycle by removing the spent blooms. Follow the bloom stalk to the base of the plant and cut it off – this will encourage the plant to produce need blooms.

There are four other factors that effect blooming.

1. Water - Peace lilies need to be kept moist. Over-watering and under-watering can inhibit blooming. Your moisture meter should elevate any question as to when to water. You might want to mist the peace lily occasionally – humidity encourages blooming.
2. Fertilizer – peace lilies need adequate fertilizer to bloom.
3. Light – peace lights need ample light to bloom. Although peace lilies tolerate low light levels, in order to bloom they may require more light.
4. Temperature – peace lilies don’t like wide temperature swings. Keep away from drafts or air vents. Optimum temperatures for a peace lily are 72degrees (day) and no lower than 65 degrees (night).

If your environmental conditions are correct your peace lily should bloom. Give it time – it might need a little rest before it blooms again.
