This was my first time for using Carol Shoppes. Their name was given to me by my Aunt from Reading, PA who had used them several times and was very satisfied with the service. I was very satisfied as I was unable to attend the funeral for my Aunt recently. I recommend them highly and plan on contacting them throught the year to place additional orders. I really appreciate that they will take a picture of the arrangement and send it to you, this is very nice especially for those that cannot make it to the cemetary to make the placement themselves. My husband ordered my flowers for Valentines Day. The flowers are perfect I was very satisfied with the arrangement of mixed florals called Georgia Peach. Good afternoon, My mom was unexpectedlty admitted to the hospital. I wanted to send her flowers from the office. I went online to search for a florist to call in Reading to order an arrangement directly. CAROL SHOPPES is very well represented on the internet. My position does not lend itself to a casual search. I needed to find a florist - fast, make a selection - fast, pay for it - fast, and get back to work. Since Carol Shoppes is so well represented on the internet, it was difficult to identify another florist. I succumbed and patronized CAROL SHOPPES. Being a rather savvy consumer; I decided if there was anything I did not like regarding the transaction, I would contact the local Better Business Bureau. The flowers were delivered same day as ordered. I was pleased when I saw them in her hospital room during my visit the same evening. She was very happy with them, hospital staff commented on the pleasant fragrance they emitted throughout the following days. All in all, I am pleased with the experience. I was not expecting a basket as the container; the photo online showed a 'bucket.' Since this is an online service, not unlike ordering an arrangement via a wire transfer using FTD, Teleflora, etc., perhaps the container displayed in the photo was not in available in inventory. A floral designer for several years employed by upscale shops, I understand the business. Thank you.
