Top 5 "Thank You" Flower Arrangements
Nothing says "Thank You" like a bouquet of beautiful blooms. Your local florist makes it easy to say "Thank You!" Sometimes the best thank you is a little recognition, and having flowers delivered to them at the office never fails to brighten someone's day. Here is FSN's choices for the Top 5 "Thank You" flower arrangements!
April's favorite flower color is diamond-white. This year, we are spotlighting unique flower colors for you to use in custom flower arrangements, wedding bouquets, centerpieces, and anywhere else you might need great-looking flowers. To make choosing the colors a little more interesting, we are starting with birthstone colors. Last month's was aquamarine, and this month it's diamond, or whiteish-silver.
Since 'diamond' is not really a color, we are associating it with lighter shades of gray. There are many, stunning flowers that come in light-gray colors, as well as shimming-silver and pale-blue. When creating a color scheme using these light-grays, you can either stick with a monochrome palette, or add a punchy, accent color to really bring out the dynamics! Imagine bright red mixed with silvery-white colors, or how about a vivid-blue paired with diamond flowers and silver accent.
This is a great flower guide for brides looking for unique color palettes and unusual flowers for their wedding.
Make YOUR Week At The Office Extra Special With Flowers
Unless Monday is your day off, it's rare anyone ever looks forward to heading back to work after the weekend. Working an 8 to 5 job, it's easy to get a case of the Mondays every once in a while. Do you know what the best cure for the Mondays is? Why, spring flowers of course! Spring flowers lift spirits and put you in a good mood, plus their beauty is extraordinary and will enhance your desk and office like nothing else.
Having flowers delivered is always a fantastic and memorable occasion, no matter who sends them. Flowers don't have to always be sent to us by our other halves; there are NO rules that say we can't send flowers to ourselves. What better way to treat yourself than enjoying flowers for a week at work?
You can never go wrong sending flowers to someone on their birthday. Gazing at beautiful flowers creates birthday memories to hold close to heart, especially if your recipient works a desk job. There's nothing better than having your beautiful birthday gift greet you with it's vibrant colors every morning when you walk into your office. It's like celebrating a birthday week instead of just a birthday!
The official birthday flower for April is the daisy. This is a fun and funky flower that rings in spring for everyone! You can't go wrong with daisies, no matter when you send them, but when it's April, they are even more special!
Local Florist Helps On Winning Design Team At The Philly Flower Show
Last July, when Janet P. Frye AIFD, CFD of The Enchanted Florist, Asheville NC, was asked to join Schaffer Designs’ team of floral artists for the Philadelphia Flower Show, she never imagined the experience would be so grand.
Frye was part of a dream-team of 28 floral artists from across the US who converged on Philadelphia to create a floral fantasy. Working with gloved hands, bundled in layers to withstand the cold environment needed to keep the blooms at their freshest, Frye and the rest brought the vision to life.
What wrist do your wear your corsage on? It is generally recognized as proper etiquette to wear the wrist corsage on the left, although a left-handed date may prefer her wrist corsage worn on the right arm.
Do the corsage and boutonniere have to match? Not necessarily, but it usually looks more stylish and put-together that way. Talk to your local florist about your choice of formal wear for prom, both for the guy and the girl, and discuss what corsage/bout options would work best for your combined look.
FLOWER ARRANGEMENT CARE TIPS
Many flowers are very sensitive when it comes to Ethylene gas which causes color-loss and rapid aging. It is released from vehicle exhaust, wood, coal and kerosene fires, tobacco smoke, and ripe fruit. Be sure to keep your new flower arrangement away from any emitters of Ethylene gas!
