After years of working in the floral industry - and the fact that I'm on a computer for the better part of my day - I've found myself subscribed to a large number of florist email newsletters, advertisements and the like. Of course, you always like to keep an eye out on the competition, but sometimes I run across a marketing piece that just grabs my attention - not so much because of the product itself, but because of the underlying marketing. Many may think that it isn't strange that a florist would offer services such as landscape design or consulting services to businesses and homes in their area - but the point I took away from this message is that this florist is telling their customers about other niche services that they provide.
