A lot of these plants are growing around our lot here in Illinois (near Chicago). We don't know what they are nor if they are toxic.Â I'm hoping you will be able to give us some info regarding the identity of this plant.

I think the plant is a type of Brugmansia (Datura).Â The common names associated with this genus are Angel's TrumpetÂ or Jimsonweed.Â It looks more like Angel's Trumpet (Brugmansia), but I won't know until I see the bloom of the plant.Â This plant can be toxic
