To give an ordinary clay pot some character and the patina of age, first spray ivory paint onto a scrap plastic or bubble wrap.
Dab paint randomly onto the surface of the pot. Repeat using basil green and moss green paint to create a crusty, mossy look.
Tape saturated floral foam into a waterproof liner and drop into the clay pot so that approximately one inch of the foam extends above the rim of the pot.
Insert flexible stems of pussy willow...
...horizontally into each side of the foam, crossing the rim of the pot.
Pull the stems of pussy willow up to create a circular "handle" and tie in place with raffia.
Insert assorted stems of foliage to create a green base for the arrangement.
Place a few stems of heather into the left side of the arrangement.
Add a grouping of bright tulips.
Place a variety of other spring flowers into the design, leaving open space at the right for the bunny. We've used variegated carnations, alstroemeria blossoms, and daisies.
Position a small flocked or plush bunny rabbit in the right side of the arrangement.
Completed design.
