    Being at Longwood doesn't seem so far when you can still send flowers. They were very pretty in the pictures that were sent and even still have blooms now two weeks later! The prices were about the same as the shops in Richmond.

    I used Carter's for my organization's initiation. I was scheduled to pick them up before the end of the business day Saturday because the flower shop is closed Sunday. I FORGOT! I thought the ceremony was going to be ruined because there was no way for me to get the flowers. I decided to give it a shot and late that evening I emailed and Facebook messaged the owner, and to some good turn of fortune she messaged me back. She drove to her store just to meet me and let me pick up my flowers! She was so nice about it and she saved the day! I am so thankful for her and her business.

    Best place in the world to get your flowers, gift baskets, balloons and other great items. Personal service, fast delivery, and a caring attitude makes the difference in where you shop. Carter Flower Shop has it all! PS I am not related to this business but they do carry my namesake proudly.

    We are proud of the Carter name! This shop was started by Willie and Gray Carter in 1955! Even though Mr and Mrs Carter are no longer with us we still keep their name! Why change a good name?

    I love the new website; easy to maneuver through. The pictures are vibrant ... the arrangements are beautiful as always ... makes me want to order one of everything! Carter's Flower Shop is my "go to" for my floral needs. The staff is always courteous and so very helpful. Lots to be said about shopping hometown. Carolyn and her girls (and don't forget Arthur!) are like family to me! There's never been a time when I called Carolyn needing something right away and she always comes through!!!     Seriously the best flower shop in town and the nicest staff! I've always been blown away at the arrangements I've received no matter what my husband spent. Big or small they are always beautiful! Cool tidbit...... I found out that the owner, Carolyn Jones, won a USA National Florist competition back when she competed.....and her shop is in Farmville!!! Go figure. Yay small towns!!
