    A close friend has sent my mother several arrangements from Texas Blooms, two since her fall last month (she has been in two different rehab hospitals). They are some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen. The Valentine one is gorgeous and is drawing people into her room to look at, and then, of course, they visit some too. A friend found you all on the internet when the person who sent the flowers (lives in Houston) needed the name of an Austin florist. Boy did we all luck out when he sent her the name Texas Blooms.     The recipient loved the gourmet basket and it looked lovely from the photos! However, even though the date for delivery was Halloween, it was NOT a basket related to the holiday. The order form even asked me what the occasion was and I had specified that it was a birthday. I ordered a gourmet gift basket and two balloons, however three balloons were included, and one was an orange Jack-o-Lantern design. I didn't want the recipient to think I had sent them a Halloween basket, but alas. That orange balloon kind of ruined the birthday vibe. Otherwise everything else was great.

    I ordered an orchid for my daughter's 40th birthday, and she called me to say it way the most beautiful orchid she'd ever seen. My shopping experience on line, and in person on the phone with the person with whom confirmed the order, was excellent. It is my intent to establish Texas Blooms as my personal AND my place of business regular florist also. (UT Austin, Section of Neurobiology). When I called to get an expected delivery time, I was told they were on the truck and that they would be delivered on the day I had requested.     Texas Blooms has the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. Karen, the owner, is awesome. When my flowers were not delivered on Valentine's Day, she did everything she could to fix it. She gave me lot's of options, including getting my money back and the flowers delivered the next day. I opted to have my order size doubled instead and the arrangement was amazing.
