Springtime, Sunshine….and Allergies?

Springtime, Sunshine....and Allergies?

Spring has sprung and with it comes beautiful flowers, sunshine, and for many people, allergies. If you are one of the 50 million people in the United States affected by nasal allergies, spring can be a miserable time.

The flowers themselves aren’t what cause most people’s allergies to flare up. It’s actually the pollen contained in the flowers, which is why we are so allergy prone in the spring. Even if you love receiving flowers, you might dread getting them. Luckily, we have compiled a list of flowers that are best for you to avoid and ones that shouldn’t make your eyes itch.

The Good- These are all flowers with low pollen levels that shouldn’t cause much trouble, even though there are always exceptions.
