Corny lines aside, this is an awesome flower arrangement. I took one glimpse at the “Artistic Tribute” flower arrangement for Fathers Day and was taken back to memories of Daddy and me. You don’t have to twist my arm. I’ll share them with you. *smile*

My dad is a big fan of architecture. Aside from military aircraft and Sherlock Holmes, it’s the only discussable thing we really have in common. Frank Lloyd Wright has been the subject of many conversations between us. We’ve often planned a trip to Falling Water. Pennsylvania is quite out of the way this year but I still want to let Dad know that we have a mutual interest. I want him to know that I love architecture the same way that he does and look forward to celebrating amazing pieces with him during a daddy-daughter road trip.

So why the blather about architecture? Take a look at the “Artistic Tribute” arrangement and you’re hooked. It is loaded with beauty. Decorations Feeling Blah? Try A Colorful Border of Flowers

No, I’m not talking about those horrible hotel room wallpaper borders that reek of poor taste. This Colorful Border is actually a lovely basket of flowers. It caught my eye when I was looking for an appropriate Patriot’s Day bouquet. Believe it or not, there is a Patriot’s Day.

I ran across Patriot’s Day on my calendar (April 20th, 2009) and knew that I had to do something fun. Surrounding myself with red, white and blue flowers comes later in the year so I began looking for a festive spring arrangement with some of these colors. What I found stood out in a big way so I’ve decided to share it.

What are your plans for Patriot’s Day? Mine include sending myself a little gift just because I’m worth it. After all, the world would be a much better place if people appreciated themselves. After enjoying the blue iris, magenta gerbera daisies, pink larkspur, yellow cushion poms, lavender stock, and yellow tulips of the Colorful Border arrangement, I fully intend to spend a night with my family while reliving the moments that made our country so great. In fact, it was the original American patriots that made America happen. These brave people fought for their beliefs and instilled in their children an unmovable sense of patriotism. Having died for their country, it’s no wonder that even watching a movie about these soldiers is instantly moving.

Speaking of soldiers, we have many young men and women fighting overseas and here at home to preserve our right to express our patriotism. Let’s send flowers to them for Patriots Day and show our appreciation. Your soldier or friend in a war zone? Celebrate their bravery with their wife, girlfriend, parents or other loved ones waiting patiently here. Sending the Colorful Border arrangement of fresh flowers to my friend Christina (an airman’s wife) is just one of many ways that I will enjoy the holiday this year.

Who Else Wants Pink and White Dreams?

Most people dream in black and white or cloudy shades of gray. My nights, however, are filled with Pink and White Dreams. I love the way pink and white melt together to represent tenderness, purity, sincerity, sweetness and gentle romance. Wow. I’d probably marry the man that incorporated those feelings into the message on the card.

I love the way that a simple arrangement of stargazer lilies, pink roses, pink larkspur, white mini carnations, pink snapdragons and white alstroemeria can really change the outlook on the day. Everyone has had a day where crawling out of bed really does seem like a crawl and quite a chore. Bright pink and white flowers put pep in the step and send happy thoughts reeling. I keep fresh bouquets of baby pink carnations on my bedside table just to prevent those morning blahs.

What makes the “Pink and White Dreams” arrangement so much more special wherever it is around the house is that it is a constant reminder of the sender. He or she is probably someone who has laughed with you, cried with you, enjoys the opportunity to learn you better with each passing day, cares enough to send flowers to show it, and wants to sprinkle your nights with Technicolor dreams.

How To Lovingly Say ‘You Have My Heart’

I can’t stop staring at this arrangement. There is too much to love about it! From the architecture of the design to its color scheme, I’m as much in love with this arrangement as can be which is why I’m choosing the “You Have My Heart” bouquet as February’s featured flower arrangement.

I’m not one of those women that gets caught up in chasing romantic things, but I’m definitely moved by the “awww” factor. Sweet and kind gestures still mean the world to me. When I first saw the “You Have My Heart” arrangement among our Valentines Day bouquets, so many things flashed in my mind.

This is one of those romantic gifts that I could instantly picture being presented to me by my sweetie. The romantic atmosphere, his sweet and nervous smile as he waits for my reaction—all of these things sprang forward. I found myself instantly smiling. I called him at work just to say, “I love you” and all he’d done was grace my imagination!

Being not a sickeningly sweet person by nature, we both knew that it took something big to make me feel inclined to act like one. We shared a giggle as I told him that it was actually a very pretty arrangement that I’d just stumbled across while looking at romantic bouquets in the photo gallery.

As far as the design scheme goes, transforming calcynia into a colorful pink heart is a great and simple idea. All it takes is a wood pick with floral wire. Heather also works really well and has a slightly softer look. Pink roses, well, just about every girl loves pink roses. I’m delighted by the simplicity of tasks and the beauty of simple things, so this arrangement stood out to me instantly. I know your sweetheart will love it too!

It’s almost too easy to celebrate the season this December. Family, friends, good food and great traditions make Christmas one of the few holidays that really move me to the core. How My Floral Tapestry Helps Hide The Winter Blues

I adore winter. It’s my favorite season. Snow angels, snow boarding, snow crème, snowmen and most other cold weather treats delight my heart. However, it’s very common even for me to feel the same dreary blues associated with long periods of dreary winter grays. For this reason, I choose to have Floral Tapestry and other colorful vase arrangements decorating my home to drive away the snowy day blues.

The Floral Tapestry arrangement is absolutely gorgeous. I was viewing some of the new flower arrangements in our picture gallery when I scrolled over Floral Tapestry. The vibrant colors popped. The red gerbera daisies seemed to shine next to the purple, yellow, peach and green accents. Solidago, purple liatris, peach roses, purple “moonshade” carnations and other flowers leap off of the page next to the daisies. It’s one of those arrangements that you crave because you simply must know what it looks like in person. So, to breathe more life into the melancholy transition period between fall and winter, I’m decorating my home this month with the Floral Tapestry arrangement from my local florist.

Scare out Spring with a Sunny Pumpkin Surprise

The colors of fall are warm and inviting. Bringing these colors into our homes signals our friends and family to join us in a cozy celebration of the new season. Orange, brown, red, yellow, deep green, and a splash of brighter colors welcome that special feeling that can only be associated with the changing of the seasons into a new fall coat.

A crisp chill in the air, the trees gently turning incredible colors, and holidays that encourage family togetherness are definite marks of fall. Autumn flowers give the Sunny Pumpkin Surprise arrangement this special feel so much that I knew that it simply must be the featured flower arrangement of October.

Being partial to October, I become oddly excited when I feel the weather begin to change. The official first day of fall was just a few days ago. I celebrated the day by sending my mother, whose favorite season is the fall, a beautiful arrangement of fall flowers from a local florist, June. Mrs. June is from the same small town and watched me grow from a young age. She knows my parents well so I was sure that she would be able to deliver the quality arrangement that I’d requested. I showed her a picture of the Sunny Pumpkin Surprise arrangement and was pleasantly surprised to see the arrangement as beautiful as ever on my mother’s table the next day.

Scarecrows, pumpkins, colorful leaves, gourds and hay seem to spring up overnight in autumnal decoration throughout my parent’s yard. My mother delights in her creative displays and often invites the neighbors over for lawn chair conversations so that someone else can share in her joy over the new season. Allowing my mother to bring some of that happiness inside the home made my heart sing. I’m very glad that she enjoyed her Sunny Pumpkin Surprise and know that your friends and family will also.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow of Blooms Lies Your Next Gift Idea

I won’t deny it. I’m a huge fan of color in the things that surround me. Deep reds, bright blues, the shades of green that inspire me to shout, “Catch me lucky charms!” and nearly every vivid color in the rainbow thrills me to the core. Upon reflection, it’s probably this giddy effect that makes me love the “Rainbow of Blooms” arrangement almost to animated glee. Almost.

I seem to recall merrily making my way down the hallway after seeing the colorful way that delphinium, carnations, lilies, roses, and alstroemeria were designed together in the arrangement. It’s amazing! My love of carnations is by no means a secret but watch the hot pink carnations pop next to the striking blue delphinium or the yellow gerbera and roses. You’re very likely to do a dance yourself or give some lucky recipient a reason to cha-cha in their living room over your tender expression of affection.

It’s no surprise that someone familiar with the meanings of flower colors may become quite animated over the messages inside the “Rainbow of Blooms” arrangement.
