You get wearable creations that look as good as they smell! Check out these floral fashions from the 2017 Arkansas Florists Association annual convention. North Carolina State Florist Association Convention 2012
We had the wonderful opportunity over the weekend to attend the North Carolina State Florist Association Annual Convention themed “Fantasies, Dream, Imagine and Create.” Florists took this theme to heart as they created imaginative and whimsical designs.
Attendees were treated a very unique competitions, including: Body-fashion flowers, headdress-hat competition, a mask contest, a miniature contest and also a talent contest! That’s just a few examples of the agenda at the NCSFA show.
Even the Flower Shop Network booth was in on the fantasy. Our booth flowers was one of the most unusual flower displays we’ve ever had. Derek from Young’s Florist from Kernersville, NC did an incredible job on this massive fairy garden. You can see the little mushrooms in the middle, butterflies, fairy houses and even fairies! (More detailed pictures of our fairy garden display will be featured in the very blog soon!)

South Carolina Florist Association Convention 2012
We had such a blast at the South Carolina Florist Association‘s annual convention this past weekend! The show was themed “Inspiration for Innovation” and it was just that. With great presentations, competitions and opportunities for networking, this was the place to be for florists.
Check out the amazing floral design in the Flower Shop Network Booth! It was created by Bernard (pictured left) from Rosewood Florist in Columbia, SC. It was filled with lush hydrangeas, gorgeous gladiolus, bells of Ireland, roses and much more!
Here is a closer view of the FSN booth arrangement before it was put into the booth.

Interview With Kym Erickson At The Texas State Florists Association Convention — “The Green Life”
Mandy Maxwell, from Flower Shop Network, sets down Kym Erickson at the Texas State Florists Association Convention to discuss her take-aways from the floral show. Lots of great presenters, and fantastic new info for even the most veteran florist.
Kym also talks about her work with the Minnesota State Florists Association and their upcoming conference in October. Maybe you were too far from Texas to attend this one, but there is sure to be a floral convention in YOUR area! It is important to attend these shows, not only for you as a designer, but also for the floral industry all together.
