    I ordered one arrangement for my wifes birtday on Monday and one for Valentines day 4 days later. Both were beatufulty impressive! I received a call from the large local florest that I have used for years asking why I had not placed my annual order with them. My wifes birthday arrangement had already been delivered by Lavander Hill and I had to let them know that the quality and cost of their arrangements fell short of the bar that Lavender Hill has set. I will be a new regular.

    I recently had a funeral and wanted something unique and something my family could take home for them to remember their love one. Carolyn made two beautiful arrangements of red roses and carnations in a stainless steel fleur di leis flower pot that was gorgeous! It stood out amongst all the other arrangements.

    This is the second time that I've ordered online from Lavender Hill. I sent flowers to my daughter. She said they were beautiful. I saw them in person a few days after she received them. To me, it seemed there were a few too many "filler" flowers. I'm not sure the name of them. Otherwise, they were fine.

    It is rare to find an artistic and thoughtful florist on a long-distance basis, but I was lucky to do so with Lavender Hills. I ordered a very special floral arrangement for a close friend who was having a 60th birthday and she is in Louisville and I am in Phoenix. My fear of getting "run of the mill FTD" and not finding the perfect florist was completely relieved when I found Carolyn and Lavender Hill. The flowers were spectacular and memorable!

    Lavender Hill did the flowers for me wedding in January and they were absolutely beautiful! The bouquet I ordered 2 weeks ago was just as beautiful.     FSN Member wins Second Annual Buckwald Scholarship!

    We would like to congratulate Lavender Hill Florals of Jeffersonville, IN for winning the second annual Buckwald scholarship! Way to go, ladies!

    About the Buckwald ScholarshipLavender Hill Floral

    The Gary Buckwald Scholarship for Excellence in Floral Sales and Service consists of $10,000 worth of training, coaching and mentoring over the course of a year for a florist and her staff. This scholarship, the result of a collaboration between the Society of American Florists and Floral Strategies, has an application process open to any retailer who has been in business for at least 18 months. Tim Huckabee, president of Floral Strategies, says that they attempt to discover a retailer who "genuinely wants and needs the training, and is willing to put what they learn into practice." It is a recent award, but its lack of age is no knock on its incredible value. The tremendous benefit of having the opportunity to receive top-notch personal training from Tim Huckabee cannot be overstated. Tim will be making several trips out to Lavender Hill Florist over the next year to work with the staff on their sales and customer service skills.
