    I called Kern for a last minute delivery for a friend's birthday. They created a beautiful arrangement of purple and lilac roses and tulips and delivered it less than an hour after I ordered it. My friend sent me a text with a picture of the flowers and they were perfect! It was so fast and such high quality which is rare these days. I hadn't used Kern before. I will definitely be returning to them!

    Kern Park was really wonderful. There was a snag in our order because the hospital wouldn’t allow flowers in our friends room. We were out of town and (I think it was Holly) who helped us by delaying the order until we got home and could make other delivery arrangements.     Overall, the employee whom I talked to on the phone was polite and made an effort to meet my needs. The phone call was necessary to make sure the flowers arrived in time for the funeral. On your website there didn't seem to be a provision to directly order the flowers for a specific time on the date of delivery. There was, of course, space to write messages to Kern Park Flower Shoppe. It was only after placing the order that I started to wonder whether the flowers would get there in time if they don't know the time of the funeral. I thought what we got for our money was a good value.

    Kern Park Flower Shop did a great job with the flowers and gifts for Valentines Day. The roses were/are in perfect condition. The large lilly in the middle and many different flowers in the bouquet framed them and highlighted them in a beautiful way.     Kern Park was SUPER FAST with getting my order to the person intended! They made it so easy to rectify a bad experience I had with FTD (after FTD messed up my Valentine’s Day order), and I vow to use them the next time I need a beautiful arrangement and quick, personable, and professional service!     Kern Park went above and beyond in making a memorial special for the widow of a great man. Even changing the vase to a classic car vase when they realized the memorial was being attended by classic car club members who were friends of the deceased. Very thoughtful!

    The folks at Kern Park Flower Shoppe were amazing! Got a small bouquet for my wife who was having a “not-great” day, and they delivered it to her door! The manager also informed me immediately after receiving my order that there was a small issue with what would come in the vase, but it was no big deal!     Fumi's Floral Shoppe

    Kern Park Flower Shop is one of Portland’s longest running family-owned businesses. Enjoy this short film, "Fumi’s Floral Shoppe," which is the story of five generations of a family who have played their part in running this Portland institution, which began in 1915 – this year marking the 100th anniversary. Integral to the story is 93-year-old Fumi Itami, a woman of Japanese descent and head of the family, who has seen the business through many changes and challenges, perhaps the most significant being the forced placement of Japanese-Americans into internment camps during WWII.
