Our Story

We appreciate you stopping by and checking out our story. Here is a little snip-it of how we got started doing what we love. I’m Sandy Jefferies. I have been in the floral industry for over 14 years. I have always felt I have the best job in the world! I have come to adore the time I've had making unique and beautiful floral arrangements for local families; from helping them celebrate the cherished times in their lives like weddings, school dances, birthdays and everyday occasions to mourning with them through the difficult time of losing a loved one.

I believe flowers have a beautiful way of saying just the right words, and I have a passion to help others express their love through them. I have been blessed to be able to work with my family at their local grocery store, Soelberg's, for the past 26 years as they have allowed and had faith in me to pursue my love of flowers and home décor.

With my combined love of flowers, a desire to make things beautiful, and an aspiration to further serve our community, our family has decided to venture out and develop our own “home away from home”'- where our children will be able to work right alongside us. The Spiced Pear Loft's name was inspired by our charming little home, located on Pear Street in our hometown. We love family and we love being Home. We wanted to create a place where our guests could come and partake in the same homely comfort, find unique treasures of their own, and enjoy our custom floral arrangements and gifts for all ages.
